Performing video of Classic Music from Chinese and Western Ballets on March 28
On the night of March 28, National Ballet of China Symphony Orchestra came to the stage of the Concert Hall of the National Centre for the Performing Arts to deliver the first performance in the Year of the Ox under the baton of Resident Conductor Liu Ju.
The concert includes four selections respectively from Tchaikovsky's opera Eugene Onegin, ballet The Nutcracker and Swan Lake, selection from ballet The Maid of the Sea by Wu Zuqiang and Du Mingxin, selection from Soviet composer Aram Ilitch Khatchaturian's dance masterpiece Spartak, selection from the Chinese ballet Son and Daughter of the Grassland by composers Ge Guangrui, Cheng Kai and Shi Fu, five selections from The Red Detachment of Women, and Farandole of the French composer Georges Bizet.
