Members of Beijing Dancers Association and The Chinese Society of Education
Graduated from the Dance Academy of the Minzu University of China, Wang Jun was named "Excellent Educator" in Beijing. She was once employed as a national folk dance teacher in the dance department of College of Military Culture, National Defence University PLA China. She has served as a teacher in the Yingao Campus of Beijing Haiyun Arts Academy and the former Deputy Director of Dance Department of Beijing Music & Dance Academy. Now, Wang Jun is the national folk dance teacher of The School of the National Ballet of China.
She has studied Indian classical dance from Professor Su Baohua, an Indian dance expert from China Oriental Performing Arts Group, specializing in Indian Bharata. In the 2nd National Ethnic Minority Art Show, Wang Jun won the title of "Outstanding Dancer", while in the rematch in Beijing of the 11th National Secondary Vocational School "Civilized Talent", she won the second prize with the work named The South of Colorful Clouds, which was choreographed and directed by herself.
During her more than ten years teaching of national folk dance, Wang Jun is steeped in the essence of folk dance culture, visited minority areas many times and integrated what she has learned into classroom teaching. Under her direction, many excellent graduates have been admitted to art schools as Beijing Dance Academy and Dance Academy of the Minzu University of China.
