Sang Chunmao, a Chinese Communist Party member, graduated from the Capital Normal University in 1995 with a bachelor's degree majoring in mathematics education. In 2005 he graduated from the Capital Normal University with a master's degree in education management.

In 1995 he joined the work of teaching in Beijing Hepingmen Middle School. He has served successively as vice President of Beijing No.134 Middle School, Beijing Yucai School, President of Beijing Xuanwu Foreign Language Experimental School and President of Beijing No.43 Middle School. He has served as the President and Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee of Beijing Yucai School since September 2017. Now he is serving as the Executive Vice President of The School of the National Ballet of China.
