Graduated from the Ballet Major of the Affiliated Secondary School of Beijing Dance Academy in 2003, Du Jichao joined the National Ballet of China in the same year.
He has danced “Three Waiters” in Roland Petit’s La Chauve-Souris, “Benvolio” in Romeo and Juliet, “Gurn” in La Sylphide and “Two Male Friends” in The Crane Calling, the Kite Dance in Chinese New Year (The Nutcracker Chinese Version), and the modern variations for four Sarabande by famous choreographer Benjamin Millepied as well as the leading roles in The Sleeping Beauty, Flower Festival in Genzano Pas de Deux. He has also participated in almost all the repertoire of the Company, such as The Red Detachment of Women, The Light of Heart, Swan Lake, The Little Mermaid, Giselle, Onegin, Carmen, L’arlesienne, Firebird, Rachmaninoff Piano Concerto No.3, Beethoven: Symphony No. 7, Sylvia, La Bayadère, Songs and Dances of the Earth, Jewels, Like Flowers, Don Quixote, Inspiration and Glory, A Dream of Red Mansions, etc.
