The Ballet GALA is full of youth, hope and passion dedicated by all teachers and students of the Dance School of National Ballet of China with endeavor and practice of day and night. Also, it is a reflection of the of the students' hard working on the way of chasing their ballet dreams. In the performance, the students will show the practice scenes in the rehearsal hall where they sweat like rain every day. Through the dance works of different types, they express sincere respect and good wishes to the motherland, as well as the pursuit and desire for the ballet art.

In this performance, excerpt from Études will be staged first and a number of wonderful excerpts from the repertories of National Ballet of China, namely Swan Lake, Don Quixote, Chinese New Year (The Nutcracker Chinese Version) and La Sylphide, will also be presented by the students of the Dance School of National Ballet of China. Besides, they will dance The Evercountry, Mine with love to express their sincere respect and good wishes to the motherland. And the two students who won medals at the 7th South African International Ballet Competition will present the brilliant modern dance works to the audience. Last but not least, some great excerpts from the first original Chinese fairy tale ballet, The Nine-Colored Deer, celebrating truth, goodness as well as beauty and promoting traditional Chinese virtues, which is tailored to the students of the Dance School of National Ballet of China will be performed as well.
