Yilei of NBC

Founded in December 2005, Yilei of NBC is attached to the National Ballet of China, aiming to popularize and spread ballet art. Yilei of NBC makes it the mission to cultivate ballet lovers and improve the physical quality and artistic accomplishment of students. At present, there are 25 professional teachers, all of whom have many years of stage experience, have been engaged in professional ballet teaching and stage performance for many years, with rich teaching and stage performance experience.

Yilei of NBC has integrated a comprehensive concept of ballet teaching into non-professional ballet education to provide professional teaching guidance for ballet lovers. At the same time, according to the different learning levels of the students, it arranges the corresponding teaching syllabus, and regularly invites the ballet stars and masters in and out of National Ballet of China to the classroom to give guidance, to provide ballet lovers opportunities and platforms to show themselves.

Over the past 10 years, the Yilei of NBC has set up eight art education bases, including Xuanwu No. 1 Primary School Affiliated to Beijing Normal University, Luzhou Zitonglu School, Baotou Grand Theatre and art education bases in Xi' an, Chengdu, Ningbo, Hohhot, Shenzhen Shekou. Together with the eight branch campuses of Yilei of NBC in Beijing, there are more than 6,000 students now.

At the invitation of the Beijing Municipal Education Committee and appointed by the National Ballet of China, Yilei of NBC accepted the project named "College and High Arts Involved in the Primary School Education" in 2014, bringing ballet basic training courses into Caoqiao Primary School, Banbuqiao Primary School and Leifeng Primary School. Students who benefit from ballet education have cultivated their cognition and appreciation of elegant art through the artistic beauty of ballet and music.

As one of the artistic education bases of the National Ballet of China, Baotou Grand Theatre commissioned Yilei of NBC to organize and create a ballet for children named Little Sisters of Grassland, which was successfully premiered in Baotou Grand Theatre in October 2019 and won unanimous praise from all walks of life.
